Hi Everyone

My name is Jemima but everyone calls me Mima. I was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia on 13th June 2007 and had to spend just over 3 weeks in hospital. I have set up this blog so that I can keep in touch with my friends and keep you up to date with what I am doing.

WE DID IT!!! - THANKS TO ALL OF YOU WHO HAVE SUPPORTED JEMIMA INVITES OVER THE LAST COUPLE OF YEARS, WE HAVE NOW MANAGED TO BEGIN THE RESEARCH WHICH PROFESSOR MARTIN DYER WAS SO DESPERATE TO DO.

Uhh... itchy itchy itchy. Bet your putting lots and lots of that lovely pink lotion (I quite like the smell of it actually). Hope you don't feel too poorly with it. Your lucky you've lasted til now without it. Could you pass it on to your family or have they all been done and dusted with it? I wonder if chickens can get chicken pox (if they aren't the things that give it you in the first place). I think I will have to find out... GET BETTER SOOON! Love Kathryn xxx
I am proud I am the first one to comment I hope I have done you well x

Oh no!
Can you give them to Alfie please Mima because he's the only one in our Family that hasn't had them....and i would rather he had them now than when he grows up as i had them when i was 21 and i was VERY poorly!
Hope you're not too poorly with them?
Get well soon Mima,
Lotsa love,
Max

I hope by now you are feeling better,I don't know how long it takes for chicken pox to go away.
Hope it wasn't too itchy and you managed not to scratch.
Lots of love

Mima! I have a story to tell you which might make you smile (well I hope so). The other night Morgan came in and he was so out of character and we were really concerned because when I was on the computer I saw him out the corner of my eye running under the stairs when he saw that I saw him. I tried to coax him out with cheese and chicken. Then my mum came and sat next to the corner where he was (he was hiding behind the cupboard we have under the stairs). She stayed there for 15 minutes talking to him and I was hovering around saying "this isn't like Morgan. I'm taking him to the vets tomorrow something isn't right. He's traumatised." Scooby came in and saw where we were all huddling and peeped his nose through and sniffed and just walked into the front room. We sat there another 10 minutes talking to him and suddenly the cat flap opened and who should walk in but Morgan!! We grabbed Morgan (because Morgan would go mad if he saw another cat in the house) and shut him in the front room with Scooby and then made a path of chicken from where... I don't know what to call him anymore so I'll just go with Blackie being totally unoriginal... was a mum grabbed him and took him outside. Then... two nights later Morgan wouldn't come in at bedtime so we left the cat flap open and shut the kitchen door. At 4am mum heard squealing and growling downstairs and who should be sitting on the windowsill but Blackie!! Morgan wasn't very happy sitting under the chair we have in our kitchen so my mum got him out (I sleep very heavily). Today innocent angelic Scooby was having a proper fight with him in the middle of our street - even the neighbours looked out because of all the noise and Morgan is so funny because he runs in the catflap and legs it upstairs and looks outside the window - he always does there is a fight in the street between cats or foxes.

Lucky Morgan it is MOT time at the vets in 4 days - so that will be fun for all of us!

I hope you are ok and your chicken pox are well gone and you are enjoying the gorgeous weather - I am and I think I've got quite a good tan too! Hope your tan is coming along. Speak to your soon...
