Hi Everyone

My name is Jemima but everyone calls me Mima. I was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia on 13th June 2007 and had to spend just over 3 weeks in hospital. I have set up this blog so that I can keep in touch with my friends and keep you up to date with what I am doing.

WE DID IT!!! - THANKS TO ALL OF YOU WHO HAVE SUPPORTED JEMIMA INVITES OVER THE LAST COUPLE OF YEARS, WE HAVE NOW MANAGED TO BEGIN THE RESEARCH WHICH PROFESSOR MARTIN DYER WAS SO DESPERATE TO DO.

THURSDAY 1st JANUARY 2009

WE HAVE BEEN IN OUR CARAVAN ALL WEEK, SO WE CELEBRATED NEW YEAR THERE WHICH WAS LOVELY BUT IT WAS JUST THE 6 OF US SO VERY QUIET! WE BOUGHT SOME FRESHLY LAID EGGS FROM THE FARMER AND WHEN I WENT TO COOK THEM ON TUESDAY THEY WERE FROZEN SOLID AS WE'D LEFT THEM IN THE AWNING OVER NIGHT!!
WE KEPT THE NEXT LOT IN THE CARAVAN WHERE IT WAS LOVELY AND WARM!

Hello Mima, Its not good that you are feeling horrible and don't feel like putting colours on your blog - not a very good way to spend the new year. I'm sorry you feel like that. Hopefully the week will be over soon and you can get back to your normal perky self again. Keep your chin up. Can't wait to hear what presents you got for Christmas. Thinking of you and sending my love Kathryn xxx

Hi Mima,
Happy Christmas and Happy New Year. It sounds as though you had a full on Christmas. Sorry that you are feeling unwell at the moment, just think hopefully this time next year you will be through with you treatment, no more needles or steriods, fingers X for a healthy year for you Mima and that your treatment comes to an end as planned.
We had a great Christmas in Norfolk, lots of food and lots of presents, how spoiling.
Love to you all, Venetiaxx
