Hi Everyone

My name is Jemima but everyone calls me Mima. I was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia on 13th June 2007 and had to spend just over 3 weeks in hospital. I have set up this blog so that I can keep in touch with my friends and keep you up to date with what I am doing.

WE DID IT!!! - THANKS TO ALL OF YOU WHO HAVE SUPPORTED JEMIMA INVITES OVER THE LAST COUPLE OF YEARS, WE HAVE NOW MANAGED TO BEGIN THE RESEARCH WHICH PROFESSOR MARTIN DYER WAS SO DESPERATE TO DO.

Sorry your having a bad time again with your steroids Mima - 3 days down already and only 4 to go. I hope it goes quickly for you. Think about the fantastic day you had on Wednesday and give Digby a cuddle - Morgan and Scooby always make me feel better. Sending sunshine and happy thoughts your way, love Kathryn xxx

Hi Mima,

I think you just might have finished the steroids today - I really hope so and hope that you're feeling better than you were on Friday - I don't like seeing you not your sparkling self. Anyway, hope you managed to enjoy the snow - I'm sure a silly thing like a cast on your ankle won't have stopped you! See you very soon, love all the Jemma Effs xxx

hope you are feeling better now. I have seen lots of pictures of London in the snow and a friend told me you've had some in your area too. Did you manage to go out and have some fun?I guess that if it was possible you certainly did.
Lots of love and take care of yourself.

Hi Mima,
I'm on steroids at the moment aswell. You are right, they are really evil. How do they effect you? They make me irrational, angry, emotional, etc.

I was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukiemia on 31st January 2008. It's pants!!! Don't you agree? But this year, I'm looking forward to all the free holidays. Been on any?

Bye
