Hi Everyone

My name is Jemima but everyone calls me Mima. I was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia on 13th June 2007 and had to spend just over 3 weeks in hospital. I have set up this blog so that I can keep in touch with my friends and keep you up to date with what I am doing.

WE DID IT!!! - THANKS TO ALL OF YOU WHO HAVE SUPPORTED JEMIMA INVITES OVER THE LAST COUPLE OF YEARS, WE HAVE NOW MANAGED TO BEGIN THE RESEARCH WHICH PROFESSOR MARTIN DYER WAS SO DESPERATE TO DO.

THE BEST WEEKEND EVER EVER EVER!!!!!
We made it to Dittisham to stay with Uncle Y'Ed, Nickety Aunt Nocs, Hattie, Max and Tilly Bom Bom and had just about the best holiday ever. I felt a bit poorly to start with but once I had all my anti sickness medicines I began to feel much better.
We did so much and the weather was fantastic. On Saturday, we went to a beach which was down a really long pretty lane and when we got there there was nobody on the beach. Daddy and Uncle Ed cooked moules and they were delicious and it was such fun. We all went on an adventure over the rocks and then made a dam in the sea and Tilly and I made a boat to play in!
We did lots of crabbing and you would not believe how many crabs we caught. Then we let them all go and they had a race to the sea.
It was a really cool weekend. Kerching!!!

WOW MIMA... YOU CERTAINLY KNOW HOW TO HAVE A GOOD TIME... MOULES ON THE BEACH, MAKING A DAM AND CRABBING... BUT IT WAS DADDY & UNCLE ED'S BOTTLE OF WINE THAT CAUGHT MY EYE!!
SO GLAD YOU'VE HAD A LOVELY TIME, AND I HOPE YOU CAME BACK TO LOTS OF LOVELY CHUCKY EGGS??
WE'RE AT THE HOSPITAL TOMORROW AS JOSH FELL OFF HIS BIKE LAST THURSDAY (NO VALENTINES MEAL FOR ME AND HIS DAD THAT NIGHT) AND HE HAS BROKEN THE HUMEROUS BONE IN HIS ARM... (NOT FUNNY) AND HE NEEDS IT LOOKING AT AGAIN TOMORROW SO I BET WE'LL BE THERE FOR A COUPLE OF HOURS!

Mima - I'm pleased to hear you made it to Dittisham and weren't you lucky with the weather. The photos are great. I really miss my hens - We had a few for several years and they are fab pets. They used to follow me round the garden when I was weeding and eat all the juicy worms I unearthed. I know you'll get very fond of them but beware Mr Fox. Anyway when are you coming to see Coco's pups ? They are nearly three weeks old and so cute!
