Hi Everyone

My name is Jemima but everyone calls me Mima. I was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia on 13th June 2007 and had to spend just over 3 weeks in hospital. I have set up this blog so that I can keep in touch with my friends and keep you up to date with what I am doing.

WE DID IT!!! - THANKS TO ALL OF YOU WHO HAVE SUPPORTED JEMIMA INVITES OVER THE LAST COUPLE OF YEARS, WE HAVE NOW MANAGED TO BEGIN THE RESEARCH WHICH PROFESSOR MARTIN DYER WAS SO DESPERATE TO DO.

Tuesday 18th December 2007

Only 7 days until Christmas, then 6 tomorrow and then 5, then 4, 3, 2, 1 and then yippedy doodah it is Christmas day!!! Not that I am excited or anything!
It has been really cold today and as my hair is falling out again I have had a very cold head - why does that have to happen at Christmas, just when it is getting cold. I bet it will snow soon just when I have no hair left at all.
I am eating my supper, guess what it is................pasta with broccoli and carrots and I have made some strawberry whip for pudding. Emily and I have been to the Jefferson's for lunch today and played with those naughty boys and their gerbils Hercules and something. We all had pancakes for pudding which were yummy.
I hope all the nurses are excited because I am going to Ward 27 tomorrow with my sack of presents (well, wheelchair full cos I can't carry them all!) Ho Ho Ho!!!
