Hi Everyone

My name is Jemima but everyone calls me Mima. I was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia on 13th June 2007 and had to spend just over 3 weeks in hospital. I have set up this blog so that I can keep in touch with my friends and keep you up to date with what I am doing.

WE DID IT!!! - THANKS TO ALL OF YOU WHO HAVE SUPPORTED JEMIMA INVITES OVER THE LAST COUPLE OF YEARS, WE HAVE NOW MANAGED TO BEGIN THE RESEARCH WHICH PROFESSOR MARTIN DYER WAS SO DESPERATE TO DO.

Wednesday 14th November 2007

I made it home late last night after my last lot of antibiotics.
I was shattered this morning and went back to sleep until lunchtime then I went up to Granny and Papa's and my Papa cooked me some yummy pasta for my lunch and I had 3 chocolate flakes for pudding!!!
Mummy and I went to Market Harborough for some fresh air and I helped Daddy in the office for a couple of hours this afternoon. That was great fun and really good to be out and about.
I have a two week break from chemo now so I can recover from the last 9 weeks and then I will start a new block at the end of November for another 9 weeks.
I might go to school tomorrow as I really miss all my friends and we have exams next week so I need to learn a bit more. I have only been to school for 1 day since half term!
Night Night.

Hi Mima great to hear you are out of hospital and its sounds like you had a well earnt 'chill day' today. Fifi and all your friends have missed you at school, she tells me she tried on your blonde wig and you both laughed so much you stuggled to eat your 3rd helpings of choc pud!!! What a fun girl you are! Hope to see you at the ballet show sometime this week. Love The Furbers

Hi Mima
So glad to hear you are home and it will be nice to go to school for a couple of days and then it's the weekend. We have a Spanish boy coming to stay with us on Friday - Daisy & Archie are really looking forward to him coming and he is going to school with them on Monday! Archie is practising his Spanish - can you help him out?
A new cousin arrived this morning for them called Charlie - so that was very exciting.
Hope you are back on your feet again and are able to ride at the weekend. Hope to see you really soon. Lots of love Auntie Jax xx

Yo Dooooode,
I tried to call you today, but you were obviously out galavanting!, Can't keep up with you ( except for chocolate, I bet i can eat much more than you. Princess Lottie went home yesterday, I think I miss her and her designer bed. Looks like she is coming back again tho, she has gone home for a holiday!!!. Is that Dig Dog still being naughty, maybe he should book himself into the Boot Camp North, that will sort him out. He is probably missing his fix of cow poo. I have just put some false nails on Ella for the dance show, she says she dances better, I think that is just an excuse for long nails. She will probably break them all on the first night cause her costumes are difficult to do up this year. Miss Caroline gave her a hat to wear but Ella refused to put it on, I think its because her boyfriend is watching this year and she wants to look her best not a twit.
Mima, I am glad you are feeling a it better now and that you can go back to school, apparantly the place is so boring without you.
Make sure you give mum and dad a kiss from The Norths. Night Night

Hi Jemima, it's your London fans here, everyone's very excited to be doing something for you! Do you know, the last time i saw your lovely mum we were both very very pregnant, and guess who was in your mum's tummy? yup, you! i was pregnant with my eldest, Nicholas, so you two are the same age!

if you want to see what we all look like - you can have a look at: www.alexbremer.com and go to gallery. i'm sure there are some of the wakelys on there too!

i was thinking - seeing as though you're clearly so computer literate, why don't you add a link to our fundraising page on your web blog - it's http://www.justgiving.com/rebeccamarsham1 .

also, The Hope Foundation has included us on their homepage, if you want to have a look, it's http://www.hfcr.org/

we're all thinking of you. keep smiling. x Rebecca M
