

FUND RAISING EVENTS
DO YOU KNOW SOMEONE WHO IS BEAUTIFUL? Wouldn’t they love a copy of a specially recorded CD, featuring a cover version of James Blunt’s song, “You’re Beautiful” performed by two Stoneygate School pupils Isabel Smith and Jack Gibbs.
Copies available at every drop off and pick up time all next week either in the foyer of the Senior Building or in the Pre –Prep courtyard, at a cost of £2.50 per copy with all proceeds to ‘Jemima Invites’.

Spring Craft Fair in aid of Jemima Invites and a Meningitis charity on Saturday 14th March 2009 from 10am - 1pm at St John the Baptist School, Clarendon Park. Entry £1 for adults, 50p for children and under 5's free. Refreshments available, raffle and 20 or so stalls offering hand made soaps, belts, jewellery, Phoenix cards and much much more.
Christmas Fair in aid of Jemima Invites. Saturday 6th December 10am - 6pm, Sunday 7th December 10am - 4pm
At Great Bowden Village Hall. Plenty for the children to do whilst you shop; face painting, mini manicures, hair curling and plaiting, decorations to make and letters to Santa.
Traditional children's’ pyjamas and nightdresses, stocking fillers, table decorations, Welsh blankets, jewellery and jewellery boxes, rag dolls and children rocking chairs to mention but a few and hot chocolate and mince pies, coffee, tea and cakes throughout the day.

Over 60 Stoneygate School children, parents and teachers completed a swimathon at Next Generation on Tuesday 2nd September 2008. We completed an amazing 100810 metres which is 62.64miles!!!!!!!! The inaugural Jemima Invites Golf Day was held at Kilworth Springs Golf Club in July and a wonderful day was had by all. Thank you very much to Emma Maziak for her excellent organisation and raising £612.
Davina Merriman's Shop til you Drop day was a huge success and many Mums and daughters did their best to buy as much as possible. Thank you Dav for the huge £1350 raised.
Rosie Jordan went all out to complete the Rutland Water Triathalon on June 21st and did so in a fantastic time. She also raised and amazing £1100. Thank you Rosie!
A team of extremely fit people participated in a triathlon organsied by Lucy and Yanni on July 3rd at Next Generation raising funds for both Jemima Invites and Neuroblastoma. They raised a fantastic £3,500. Well done one and all.

Auntie Jax and Bans Learoyd organised a fantastic Bingo and Boogie night in their barn in Northants and we all had a fabulous evening. The amount raised was a staggering £25,000 to be split between 3 charities! Amazing effort Jax and Bans. Thank you so much.
Handmade @ Holbrook Craft Sale was a huge success and many people were able to sample the talents of some wonderful local people. Thank you so much Heather for organising such a great event and the donation of £322.
Summer Luncheon and Cookery Demonstration by Rosemary Leech. We had a fabulous day on Tuesday 24th June 2008 and raised £1600. Thank you to everyone who came.
The tennis tournament at Stapleford Park was a huge success enjoyed by both players and supporters alike. There were some excellent tennis players with many close matches which went to tie breaks. Well done to Philly who oraganised the day single handedly and raised an amazing £3000!
The mad cyclists all enjoyed a fantastic day and successfully made it to Brancaster Staithe covering over 100 miles each in around 7½ hours! The sponsorship has nearly hit a jaw dropping £20,000. An amazing effort by all involved. www.justgiving.com/ridetonorfolk

The Picnic and Play day at Twinlakes was a huge success. Everyone had a great day out and the weather was very kind. We raised £1320!
The Dance Workshop was great fun and the parents were treated to a wonderful dance show at the end of the morning. We raised £325.
Auntie Nic-Nocs, Debbie, Sam and Venetia hosted the most fabulous Hoby Hop on Saturday night and raised an unbelievable £4,000. Thank you to everyone who came to have a boogey and one of Mart's cocktails in Hoby village hall.
